Warner B. Thompson was born in Birmingham, Alabama, and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and his law degree from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law.
He began his career at the Federal Public Defender's Office for the Eastern District of Louisiana, where he spent five years handling a wide variety of federal criminal cases. Federal criminal defense remains the core of his practice.
Since transitioning to private practice, he maintains a civil litigation docket, representing individuals in personal injury and property damage matters in both federal and state courts.
